Several years ago I felt the urge to express myself through writing. During that time I grew to understand the power in sharing one's experience. It is a remarkable moment when one person allows another to truly see them without all of the things we use to cover up, distract or obfuscate the realities of life. To have someone read my work and see themself in the words and the spaces between them, is a gift - a sacred moment of divine connection.
